I have over 15 years of experience in the field working with children, adolescents, adults, as well as working with families with geriatric care needs. I graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Psychology and I received my MSW from Columbia University. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of NJ. I am bilingual in English and Greek. I have experience working in various settings including a school with children with developmental disabilities, challenging behaviors, and various emotional illnesses, a mental health clinic with adult patients with chronic mental illnesses, out-pt therapy with children and families, nursing home/sub-acute unit providing emotional support and discharge planning, and most recently, for almost 10 years, at Hackensack Meridian Health as a social work advocate for patients and families.

I use various modalities of therapy customized to meet my clients needs. I will implement a personalized therapeutic approach dependent on the assessment of your individual circumstances and needs . When needed, I collaborate with various other professionals including psychiatrists, dietitians, treatment programs, and other programs suited for my individualized client's needs. |
